i wonder if we'll make it...

Today was a busy day. We were up and working at 5:30am (The Wife might have been up earlier even). We were setting up for another spectacular yard sale, but because of our upcoming move we were pressured to get rid of as much stuff as possible.

Wait, what?! You didn't hear we were moving?? Oh yeah, I forgot to tell people readers of this blog--I've been quite stressed lately. We're moving to Seattle officially on June 20th. I accepted a job with the wonderful PopCap Games (I'm super pumped!!!--***dream job***)

Anyway, today was spent yard selling. Luckily Uncles L&L were willing to help out with the boys so that The Wife and I could work outside (mostly The Wife). The Wife was a master salesperson and was able to keep people buying things. Overall the sell was a success--we'll say we sold a lot and took a lot to DI. :)

Then it was time for Saturday chores and I got grumpy and stress started filling my bosoms like alka-seltzer and diet Coke fill a two liter bottle. I was tired, I have a gospel doctrine lesson tomorrow I haven't prepared for, we're moving, we have a lot of stuff, and yeah...I was not pleasant to be around.

big son's recent reading...

Big Son was up until 12:40am last night (could have been later, that's when I fell asleep) reading ALL of these:

the lovin'

Big Son: Daddy, I love you.

Me: I love you too son.

Little Son: Daddy, I love me.

big son the chef

Big Son has been really into recipes and cooking lately. The other day The Wife discovered he had done the following on her laptop. She snapped a shot.

Lego(ld)

So the wife got creative today and made some Lego(ld) (LAY-gul-d). I love it!! If you love it, vote for her at: http://gold.chipotle.com/contests/showentry/753589. I did.

baby's got blue eyes

The Wife looks over at Little Son as he stabs himself in the eye with a yellow highlighter. "Little Son! Don't do that! Go look in the mirror and see what you did!" she cries.

Little Son runs to the large mirror in the living room.

"Awwwhn!!!" Little Son complains disappointedly. "It's still blue!!"

(By the time I heard this story the highlighter had faded quite a bit, but if you look close enough you can see it.)
